Project Description

MULTIVAC is a great success story. The company started out in the garage in Germany in 1961. Today MULTIVAC is the world leading manufacturer of packaging with branches on every continent and more than 5000 employees worldwide.

When the company decided to open up a showroom on the West Coast, Red Box ID has been selected to create a simple and clean showroom for their state-of-the-art machinery. We focused on the company’s brand and the packaging process.  As a result, the concept of the minimal interior improvements allows company’s presence to be felt throughout the space.

At the entrance, the “wall of packaging” invites customers to take a closer look, to touch and to play with various packages conveniently displayed inside clear open boxes.  Reflective Multivac ovals create interest and provide a relevant backdrop next to the stainless steel logo and a couple of Marcel Breuers B-3 chairs. The long and narrow grey vinyl flooring spills into the heavy duty epoxy flooring inside the equipment showroom.  With partial checkered ceiling, good quality lighting and company’s colorful Andy Warhol and van Gogh inspired art pieces this showroom is equipped with the latest machines, which provides an ideal and fun premise for a wide range of purposes – whether product demonstrations, events, sample production, pack tests or training courses.
