Project Description

Red Box ID was commissioned for the interior design of the new location of Avora Skin Spa, an award-winning medical spa located in the hearth of Coquitlam.

The new salon is approximately 1500 sq ft and the geometry of the space is anything but typical.

We took on the challenge to create a tranquil space for clients that would also be very flexible for staff.  Working on the space planning options reminded us of playing jenga, we kept pulling and pushing each room and space until we reached the right balance without “crashing the tower”.  The final space planning option was a success as we exceeded the initial requirements without making the space feeling or looking crowded.   

No two spaces/rooms are alike neither in configuration nor in their appearance.  Combining full height murals and branding wall tattoos with colors like white and charcoal in the unique layout of the salon, is that what drives the success of the interior design here.
